Applied Physics Graduate Student Association

The Applied Physics Graduate Student Association (APGSA) seeks to provide community and support for graduate students in Applied Physics.

Graduate Student Housing

Rice's graduate students live off-campus, either in nearby rental properties or at the university-owned Rice Graduate Apartments, Morningside Square Apartments, or the Rice Village Apartments. Learn more about Rice's convenient graduate student housing options.

PhD Fees

Enrolled full-time PhD students do have certain Graduate Tuition, Fees & Expenses in addition to tuition, which may include Graduate Student Association fees and Health and Wellness Support services.

Health Insurance

All degree-seeking students are required to maintain health insurance. Students who do not complete an Insurance Enrollment or Waiver form will have their account put on hold. If you already have health insurance and want to waive the Rice Plan, complete the Insurance Waiver form indicating that other coverage is in place.
